About

At its core, the Missouri Veterans History Project (MVHP) was founded on a powerful mission: to preserve the voices of American heroes. For years, our dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly to collect and document over 1,000 interviews with U.S. Veterans, ensuring their sacrifices and experiences were recorded for future generations.

These invaluable stories were contributed to the U.S. Library of Congress and the State Historical Society of Missouri, forming a lasting tribute to those who served our nation—from the battlefield to the home front.

We are immensely proud of the legacy built through these efforts and extend our deepest gratitude to every Veteran who shared their story, and to every volunteer who helped document it.

As times have changed, so has our mission.

Today, MVHP has transformed into a global news and media portal, expanding its focus to support retirees, caregivers, and vulnerable communities in both the United States and the United Kingdom. While we continue to honor the values of service and sacrifice, we now apply those values to a new kind of support—information empowerment.

Our platform provides timely, accurate, and essential updates on government programs designed to help individuals navigate financial and social challenges. These include:

  • Social Security, SNAP (Food Stamps), and IRS benefits in the U.S.
  • Stimulus payments, cost-of-living updates, and retirement news
  • UK government schemes including DWP, PIP, WASPI, Universal Credit, and pensions
  • Assistance programs for disabled individuals, low-income families, and senior citizens

We understand that navigating government aid and social programs can be overwhelming, especially for those already managing the complexities of aging, disability, or caregiving. MVHP now serves as a reliable resource for clear, user-friendly information—rooted in the same spirit of service that once drove our mission to capture veteran stories.

Whether you’re a Veteran looking for support, a retiree searching for your next payment date, or a caregiver trying to understand your loved one’s entitlements, MVHP is here to help—across borders, generations, and life circumstances.

As we continue to grow, our goal remains the same: to serve those who have given so much, now through meaningful, accessible information that uplifts and empowers.
